Square Root Solutions is proud to be the main sponsor of CK United for the 2026 and 2027 seasons. CK United, representing Carlow and Kilkenny, are one of the founding clubs of the new Football Association of Ireland National League, the new third tier of Irish football. Their first senior National League fixture takes place on 29 August 2026 at SETU Carlow Sports Campus against Newbridge Town.
For our CEO, Ciarán Stone, this partnership carries personal significance, having grown up playing football in the Kilkenny League. Our partnership with Coerver Coaching, one of the world's largest football coaching organisations with coaches operating across 47 countries, reflects the impact technology can have within the sports sector. Together, we developed an app that helps young athletes of all levels build and hone their soccer skills, and we continue to explore new ways to support the next generation of players.
In partnership with Factory44, we co founded Ireland's StartApp Competition, offering Irish and UK startups the chance to win a €20,000 prize package. The package includes mentorship from industry experts, a fully scoped app or website prototype built by our development team, a year's membership to the Factory44 creative hub, giving on demand access to experienced creatives, designers and strategists, and a feature in Startups Magazine. The competition reflects our commitment to helping early stage founders turn their ideas into reality.
Square Root Solutions was a Silver Sponsor of the 10th edition of GDG DevFest 2024, held on 24 November 2024. Organised by Google Developer Groups, DevFest is one of the largest community-led developer events globally. Our sponsorship reflects our commitment to empowering developers and startups worldwide, and to supporting the broader tech community beyond Ireland.
Closer to home, we've proudly supported grassroots sport in Castlecomer, County Kilkenny. In partnership with Intosport.ie, Square Root Solutions sponsored new playing kit for Erin's Own GAA Club and soccer jerseys for the Boys National School in Castlecomer, Ciarán Stone's former primary school. Supporting the clubs and schools that shaped our own team is something we take real pride in.

Dublin Tech Summit has become one of our most important annual events. Since 2023, our team has exhibited at the RDS Dublin each year, hosting workshops on practical AI, digital transformation, and product innovation.
In 2026, our workshop "Before AI, After AI," presented by Ciaran Stone and Moin Shirazi, explored how AI-assisted workflows are reshaping software development helping businesses and startups design, build and deliver digital products faster, more efficiently and at lower cost.
Joining thousands of founders, startups and technology leaders at the RDS in Dublin, our 2025 highlight was the workshop "Delivering Practical AI Solutions," presented by co-founders Ciaran Stone and Raza Noorani. Drawing on our experience building AI-powered products, the session looked at how businesses can move beyond the AI hype and implement practical solutions that deliver measurable value.
We returned in 2024, with Ciaran Stone invited to take part in the Founders Chat, sharing his experience building and growing Square Root Solutions with an audience of entrepreneurs and innovators. We also hosted a workshop to a full room, opening up further conversations around technology and digital innovation.
Dublin Tech Summit 2023 marked Square Root Solutions' first appearance at Ireland's leading technology conference the start of what has since become an annual fixture on our calendar. Our CEO, Ciaran Stone, took to the stage to discuss overcoming common startup challenges, drawing on his own entrepreneurial experience to offer practical insights on building and scaling a technology business. The event laid the foundation for lasting relationships within Ireland's tech ecosystem, and an event we've supported every year since.
In January 2025, Square Root Solutions exhibited at BETT UK, the world's leading education technology event, at ExCeL London (Booth SK 40, 22–24 January). We showcased our work across learning management systems, STEM and interactive learning, AI-powered adaptive learning, gamified learning platforms, and immersive AR/VR solutions. We draw on more than 50 successfully delivered EdTech projects, over 40 million app downloads, and a combined project valuation exceeding $30 million.
Ciarán Stone also spoke on the SEND stage about inclusive education technology, drawing on his background in special education and sharing insights into how technology can drive a more inclusive education system.
